Problems faced by Philippines

Do you think what are the problems faced by Philippines? As a Filipino how can you solve it? One of the problems faced by our country is the disaster made by Typhoon Yolanda.Yolanda was the most tragic and powerful typhoon came in the Philippines this year 2013.

The Philippines endures a seemingly never-ending pattern of deadly typhoons, earthquakes, volcano eruptions and other natural disasters but Haiyan now stands as one of the deadliest natural disasters ever recorded in the country, and the worst typhoon. We were one of the most promising nations in the world. But today, despite two globally admired People Power uprisings, we have earned the dubious distinction of being both a laughing stock and a leper on the world stage.
One of the biggest problem is the Corruption there has been lots of controversies relative to government officials being involved with money issues. The thing is that even though there are hearings and out--whether it's positive or negative news. The term “pork barrel politics” usually refers to spending what is intended to benefit a politician’s constituents, in return for their political support. Recently, however, the most widely known reference to the term would have to be the 2013 Philippine Pork Barrel Scam. Being the future of the country, the youth is our nation’s prime asset. It is the country’s duty to support and care for its children. In turn, the youth has an obligation to be involved in the affairs of our nation, and not to stand by idly when scandals arise. The term “pork barrel politics” usually refers to spending what is intended to benefit a politician’s constituents, in return for their political support. Study Habits

“Any fool can know. The point is to understand.”
As a student how do you improve your study habits? Many teens out there had the experience of struggling with a particular subject at school, with feeling anxious or unprepared before a test, or with feeling unsure about why learning and achieving at school can feel so difficult at times.
Studying is very important for your life if you want to achieve something more. Studying is important in order to truly learn the information. It is said that information will stick with you longer if you study out the reasoning behind the information. To better remember what you study you should read the material, write down the important points.
To Improve Study Habits:
*Spend some time studying for not just one, but a few nights before your exam. That will help you to feel more confident and knowledgeable about the material.
*Do a quick review of the material the day of the test – whether in the morning before you leave for school, or during a lunch period or study hall before your exam. This is not when you want to get the bulk of your studying done – but more of a quick reminder of the things you have already learned.
*Find someone who can help you study – a friend, parent, or tutor. Have that person take your textbook and/or notes and ask you to explain in detail about the material that will be on the test.
*Find a quiet place to study – whether your room, a home office, the local library – but be a in a place where you will not be distracted by other people, phones, the television, etc.
*Keep a date book or calendar readily available and write down when you plan on doing what assignments. This can help you to break down larger assignments so that you are not feeling overwhelmed in one sitting with a lengthy project. In addition, it can help you to be sure that you have scheduled when to study and do homework in a way that will not interfere with social or extra-curricular commitments.

Technology

As a student how do you use technology in a proper way? Technology has greatly improved our lives. It has led to a far better, easier and very comfortable life for the people. There are various ways through which technology has changed our lives.
The rise of the internet technology has improved our daily lives in very many ways. The world business and trade has become very fast, easier and more reliable. You can now transact business with a person who is very far from you without any difficulties.
Business technology is important because it improves communication in the workplace. Office workers are not limited to phone calls or inter-office mail to interact with one another anymore. Electronic mail allows workers to send messages instantly without interrupting the recipient. Business technology also improves communication with clients and business partners because information can be passed through multiple channels almost instantly.
Social networking websites are the order of the day nowadays. Websites like twitter and facebook are made for us to communicate or socialize to many peoples. Communication has been made easier for example the internet has brought email and chatting facilities. Instead of sending letters to respective destinations, it is very easy to send an email which will be received instantly.

Spirit of Christmas

Love came down at Christmas; Love all lovely, love divine; Love was born at Christmas, Stars and angels gave the sign.
What is the meaning of Christmas? One of the most popular holy days on the Christian calendar, Christmas honors the birth of Jesus, and is observed by most Christian churches. Christmas can be a season of great joy. It is a time of God showing His great love for us. It can be a time of healing and renewed strength. You see, Christmas is when we celebrate the birth of the Christ child.
Christmas is a very special and important occasion to us Filipino. We are celebrating this Christmas every December 25. Many Filipinos are preparing for the Christmas decorations as early as they want. They start it as the "Ber" months started. The common decorations are Christmas tree, Christmas lights, Christmas balls etc. They decorate this kind of decorations for them to feel the spirit of Christmas. As the December started many children are starting to sing a song, so called Caroling. It is a group of children singing together. With the traditional chant of "Namamasko po!" these carolers wait expectantly for the homeowners to reward them with coins. Afterward, the carolers thank the generous homeowners by singing "Thank you, thank you, ang babait ninyo, thank you!"
The best way to celebrate Christmas is to experience it in the best possible way. Make sure you have a hearty meal laid out for yourself and your family. Christmas is all about celebrating and doing it the right possible way. Do make it a point to spend a lot of time with your family and ensure that you have an extremely fun time. Do take a break from work and indulge in the long drawn out period of festivity. This is the time when you unwind and make sure you do things differently than what you experience usually.
